An experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2001, 2002 and 2003 to evaluate 221 genotypes of short duration pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan L.) of diverse eco-geographical origin. Principal component and non-hierarchical Euclidean cluster analysis showed wide diversity among the germplasm lines for different attributes. The accessions were grouped into 14 clusters. Clustering pattern of the accessions was independent of their geographical distribution. The maximum inter-cluster distance was observed to be 5.714 while the minimum was 2.104.
