Withdrawal Policy

The Editorial Board of the "Journal of Food Legumes" strongly advises against the withdrawal of submitted manuscripts, recognizing the considerable investment of time and resources by editors, reviewers, and other stakeholders in the manuscript processing. Authors are urged to thoroughly evaluate the compatibility of their manuscript with the journal's requirements and policies prior to submission. Should authors find it necessary to withdraw a manuscript, a formal written request must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief by the corresponding author, providing clear reasons for the withdrawal and signed by all authors listed in the manuscript. The Editorial Board will review the request and communicate the decision to the corresponding author. However, if a withdrawal request is made after the completion of the review process or after acceptance of the manuscript, the author(s) may be prohibited from submitting new manuscripts to the journal for a maximum period of three years. Withdrawn articles will be archived in the journal's database and will not be further processed.
