Abstract

Seventy mungbean genotypes were screened against whitefly, Bemisia tabaci Genn. and MYMV (Mungbean Yellow Mosaic Virus) for four years (2001-04). Three genotypes ML 1260, ML 1256 and ML 1191 were found promising as compared to other genotypes, standard checks (ML 5, ML 267, ML 613 and SML 668) and the 'Infester'. These genotypes have been identified as resistant donors against B. tabaci and MYMV.
