A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2016 at research farm of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya Chitrakoot, Satna (M.P.) to assess the effect of different drought management practices on pigeonpea. The study submitted this the yield attributes like pods/plant was obtained significantly higher under FYM 5 t/ha + Pusa hydrogel 2.5 kg/ha +2% spray of KH2PO4 at flowering and 2% spray of KNO3 at pod development followed by mulching of organic residues 5 t/ha however, 1000 seed weight and tertiary branches were observed maximum in mulching anther with organic residues. Quality seed yield (1.85 t/ha), gross returns (` 160615/ha) and net returns (` 128731/ha) were recorded significantly superior under mulching of organic residues @ 5 t/ha. All drought management treatment produced significantly higher yield attributes, gross returns and net returns over control. The lowest value of growth parameters, yield attributes and economics were recorded in control plot.
