Forty-three diverse genotypes of mungbean were evaluated to for generate parameters with respect to 10 quantitative traits. The analysis of variance indicated highly significant differences for all the traits.High heritability estimates were noted for all the attributes indicating greater contribution of additive and non additive genetic components. Grain yield per plant exhibited positive correlation with pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, plant height and harvest index at both genotypic and phenotypic levels. Path coefficient analysis revealed that harvest index had highest positive direct effect towards grain yield per plant (0.441) followed by seeds per pod (0.417). The maximum positive indirect effect on grain yield per plant was showed by plant height (0.973) followed by biological yield per plant (0.915) and harvest index (0.462).
