The effect various fungicides at different dosages lentis rust in vivo and in vitro were studied during 2007-2009. Data analysis revealed that all the used fungicides reduced the spore germination and disease severity disease severity significantly and increased the total grain and 1000-grain weight. Two foliar spray of bayletan resulted maximum grain yield (585.5 kg/ha) followed by mancozeb (575 kg/ha) and thiram (545.7 kg/ ha) 2007-2008. Similar trends in yield were recorded during subsequent year. Among all the treatments bayletan found best, resulted in minimum disease severity and maximum grain yield followed by mancozeb and thiram.
