Abstract

Seed treatment with dimethoate and spray of ethion, NSKE 5%, triazophos, nimbecidine, novaluron and NSKE 5% alternated with ethion, triazophos, novaluron revealed that NSKE 5% alternated with novaluron were the most effective in managing whitefly population. However, the maximum cost: benefit ratio (1:52:69) was obtained in seed treatment with dimethoate. NSKE 5% didn’t manage the whitefly population.
